Glossophobia – fear of public speaking -Public speaking Hypnotherapy
Glossophobia is social anxiety and social phobia. When someone is speaking publicly, the audience will be paying attention to them and listening to what they have to say. Glossophobia comes from a fear of being judged, which can be caused when lots of people are paying attention to someone then add this to doubts over their own ability to deliver, and it can feel overwhelming.
How can hypnotherapy help?
As with most phobias, glossophobia isn’t something that is controlled consciously. People may tell them to relax, but usually, this does little to help them manage their symptoms. This is because the symptoms they experience stem from their subconscious.
Hypnotherapy works with the subconscious to eliminate the root of anxiety.
I will use suggestion and visualisation techniques to instil positive thinking within the mind, boost confidence and reduce anxiety. I will help my client feel calm and collected when they are required to speak in public.
